- 평소에 하는 일
Sungmin is a taxi driver, but now he is in bed asleep.
He is not driving a taxi. ( 지금은 운전을 안 하고 있지만 )
He drives a taxi. ( 평소에는 택시를 운전함 )

- 일반적인 상황에서 사용
항상 혹은 반복적으로 일어나는 일 또는 일반적인 사실 에 대해 말할 때 사용한다.
말하고 있는 시점에서 그 동작을 하고 있는지 아닌지는 중요하지 않다.

- Nurses take care of patients in hospital.
- I usually leave for work at 9 a.m.
- The earth goes around the sun.
- The coffee shop opens at 7:30 in the morning.
주어가 3인칭 단수 he/she/it 일 경우에는 동사에 -s 를 덧붙인다.
I work... -> He works...
They teach... -> My sister teaches...
- 의문문과 부정문에는 do/does를 사용
