- as, 시간에 대해
as는 2가지 일이 동시에 일어날 때 사용할 수 있다. ( ... 할 때 / ... 하면서 )
예문
- We all waved goodbye to Jungwook as he drove away. ( 우리가 손을 흔들고 있을 때 그는 차를 몰고 떠남 )
- I watched her as she opened the E-mail.
- As I walked along the street, I looked in the store windows.
- Can you turn off the light as you go out, please?
다른 일을 하던 중, 어떤 일이 일어날 때도 as를 사용할 수 있다.
예문
- Daewon slipped as he was getting off the taxi.
- We met Dongsuk as we were leaving the hotel.
과거진행은 6. 과거진행 ( I was doing ) 참조.
just as 는 '... 하는 바로 그때' 라는 의미이다.

as는 오랜 시간에 걸쳐 두 가지 일이 함께 일어날 때도 쓸 수 있다.
